Toronto-based insurance marketing organization PPI Management Inc. announced Wednesday that it will be shortening the brand name of PPI Solutions, one of its managing general agencies, to PPI and refining its visual identity.

“After 40 years in business, we’ve always been PPI at our core,” James Burton, executive chairman and CEO of PPI, says in a statement. “That’s why when it comes to supporting the broad market, we’ve now shortened our name.”

“Many advisors across Canada know us simply as PPI,” Burton says, “and we’ll also now adopt one colour palette (purple/fuchsia) which has been with us throughout much of our 40 year history. In 2018 we welcomed many new independent advisors to PPI support and services as we integrated ABEX Brokerage Services in the spring and more recently Hollis Insurance within our network, and so this refresh to our brand identity is very timely as we position ourselves to grow for the future.”

The company will continue to use its PPI Advisory name and logo as part of its high net-worth service. “Much like a bank’s private client group, PPI Advisory offers concierge services in advanced planning, marketing and underwriting, and we are continuing to differentiate this offering for advisors who serve that market,” Burton says.
